Postby blackwolf » Mon Mar 03, 2008 7:20 pm

Well I know everyone here is into cars and such. But I own and admin a motrocycle forum and would love to have something like this in the motorcycle garage.
I've been reading here and there on this forum and the phpbb site but I quess it seems this havent happen yet.
Unless someone here knows where I can look further.

Thanks,

If you place motorcycles in the DB instead of cars, it works the same. I beleave there is also a site with boats in the garage :D

You can leave the table with models empty and fill in the types you want. Only problem is that you have to do it one by one as there is no list, or you let your users add their own models :D

Yeah as already replied, by simply entering the makes & models and maybe a few language changes you can use it for anything.

I have seen it used for planes, boats, quads, skidoos, cars, bikes, motorbikes, model trains, RC cars ... and a few more I forget about. So its pretty flexible.

one thing now is for ex: dynoruns - motorcycles are a little revvier so we have to do a request to poyntesm that he adds a number extra for the table - else if you put in 130bhp@ 13000 rpm for example it becomes: 130bhp@9999.999 rpm
and whats that with the 3 decimals?

Motorcycles are one of the most affordable forms of motorised transport in many parts of the world and, for most of the world's population, they are also the most common type of motor vehicle. There are around 200 million motorcycles (including mopeds, motor scooters and other powered two and three-wheelers) in use worldwide.

motorcycles are the primary means of motorised transport.Street bikes include cruisers, sportbikes, scooters and mopeds, and many other types. Off-road motorcycles include many types designed for dirt-oriented racing classes such as motocross and are not street legal in most areas.

A motorcycle (also called a motorbike, bike, or cycle) is a single-track, two-wheeled motor vehicle. Motorcycles vary considerably depending on the task for which they are designed, such as long distance travel, navigating congested urban traffic.
